Des & Cherry have been performing in show business all their lives. Des was a stand up comedian and appeared in theatre shows throughout Great Britain.
One of the highlights was appearing in a Royal Variety Show at London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. He has many TV shows to his credit, including a series in Australia called "The Weekend Starts Here".
Cherry started her career as a dancer and choreographer performing in theatre, cabaret and on cruise ships around the world. She danced in the world premier stage version of "Singin' In The Rain" for two years at the famous London Palladium. The show then toured and she was one of the lucky cast members to be invited to Japan, where they performed at the Shinjuku Koma Stadium in Tokyo.
For the last 15 years Des and Cherry have been cruising with their COMEDY Magic Acts.
They present two completely different styles of show. As "The Great Desmondo & Cherry, the world's worst magicians", their show is laughter all the way. The mayhem never stops and it always makes for a riotous evening.
In their other show "The Funny Side of Magic" they perform some deft magic and stunning illusions, all with a great COMEDY presentation. Add to this some fabulous costumes, great music and dance routines, it all adds up to a truly theatrical experience.
These very funny shows have proved a big success with American, European and British audience alike.
Des and Cherry have worked for some of the world's top cruise lines. They always score TOP RATINGS and have always been re-booked. Proof indeed of their huge success and appeal.
